Immigrants not always welcomed

In Germany, refugees and other immigrants were a big issue during the last years. Millions of people from Africa and the Middle Eastern came across the German border seeking for help and protection against war and terror.

The United States let some immigrants in, too. By far there were not so many people as in Germany, but at least 85.000 refugees were allowed to enter the US.

During my semester abroad in Memphis, Tennessee, I made a multimedia story for MemphisMirror. It is about refugees in Memphis and people’s thoughts on Trump’s immigration policy. My story will be published in a few days:
